This is an effective exfoliating treatment that safely removes layers of dead skin and soft facial hair that gives instant results  with no downtime. Your skin will appear brighter, smoother glowing and more youthful. The treatment starts by double cleansing, face massage and extraction followed by a Demaplaning procedure which uses the blade that glides over the face removing dead skin and hair. The treatment is finished by application of a mask, serum and SPF and LED light. Before the words enter your head, no – having this treatment will not result in you growing a beard. Vellous hair cannot be changed into thicker dark hair. Treatment is suitable for most skin types even those with rosacea or who are pregnant.

  • WHO IS DERMAPLANING FOR?

    Dermaplaning can be used on all skin types except those with active or deep cystic acne. It’s recommended that any breakouts clear before undergoing this treatment. While it may sound quite harsh, dermaplaning is actually very gentle.  It could also be compared to shaving your legs only in this case, someone is very gently scraping the face.

  • WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF DERMAPLANING?

    Dermaplaning is incredibly popular amongst celebrities as it also helps eliminate the ‘peach fuzz’ that can often leave your makeup looking cakey. Removal of this facial hair, along with the dead skin cells, creates a truly bright and beautiful complexion. It also allows for much greater penetration of your skincare products too, leaving you with longer lasting results.

  • WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE TREATMENT?

    We start by double cleansing the skin with an antibacterial cleanser, we then tone and blot the skin dry. We ‘scrape’ the scalpel across the very top layer of the upper dermis removing fine hair and dead skin.


    This may sound alarming, but most people are so relaxed that they fall asleep during the treatment. Once we have completed the removal, we will cleanse again and apply a protective balm and an SPF cream.
