what is a brazilian butt lift & brazilian Facial lift?

  • WHAT DO THEY DO?

    BBL procedures can: help to restore proportion to an unbalanced or top heavy frame, improve clothing fit, provide fullness and lift, correct dimpled flesh suffering from cellulite and sculpt the overall silhouette into a more shapely hourglass.


    Due to the fat being harvested from another part of the body, BBL treatments also help to improve the look of the areas used to source the natural filler. In essence, you are able to redistribute fat by taking it from problem areas and repurposing it elsewhere.

  • HOW LONG WILL THE RESULTS LAST FOR?

    Visible results from a BBL are both permanent and immediate. Of course, due to the nature of the fat graft and it being a naturally occurring filler, the body is always eager to reabsorb it. This means that after a fat graft, there is a 3 month window whereby the deposited fat may not survive and is reabsorbed by the body. This is typical of around 30-40%. The fat cells that survive beyond this 3 month period will have settled into their new permanent position.

  • ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

    As the BBL repurposes autologous fat (your body's own supply of fat cells), it means that - unlike most surgery - the treatment itself is fairly nontraumatic for the body. In fact, as BBLs only use what is naturally provided by the body, there is no threat of either rejection or allergic reaction. Even rates of infection for this method of fat transfer sit remarkably low at less than 0.01%.


    You can however expect some altered sensation around the fat harvest sites, mild discomfort, some bruising and significant swelling. This is generally all expected to resolve itself by weeks 6 – 8.

  • HOW LONG IS THE RECOVERY?

    The area will likely remain slightly swollen and sensitive for up to 8 weeks after treatment, but you will typically only feel discomfort for around 10-14 days. By day 14, most of the bruising will also have subsided.


    You will also be required to wear a surgical garment on the areas that received liposuction for up to 6 weeks - both day and night for the first 3 weeks, and then only during the day for a further 3.
